CHANGE OF TRACK

The article by R. Jagannathan, Brand Man Mohan rising (DNA 29-10-09) was interesting for the reason that the same author had wrote as early as in April -09 that Dr. Singh is un worthy the title – India’s best known reformer and the Congress deserve to lose in the current (LS) election. The author has also criticized the performance of Dr. Singh during 2004-09 as very poor. Dr. Singh has not made any dramatic changes in the programme and policies since then, the UPA-2 is just perusing and implementing its policies in a systematic manner. Dr. Singh is the most respected politician any where in the world. His brand was never down and will never be down.
