HARD LESSONS FOR REDDY BROTHERS

Thanks to Sushma Swaraj’s efforts, the crisis in Karnataka BJP has been solved, to the satisfaction of the both the sides. The question is how satisfied are the Reddy brothers, who wanted nothing less than the change in leadership. What made them to accept the compromise formula, only time will reveal. The causality of this compromise formula is the transfer of the most efficient bureaucrat V P Baligar and sacking of Rural development minister Shobha Karandlaje. The powerful Reddy brothers had brought the state administration to stand still in its one of it difficult time, because of the problem faced by the people of north Karnataka due to floods. Their money power, holed-up more than 40 MLAs in resorts, in Goa, Indore and Hyderabad. However, their money power could not succeed in influencing the central leadership for change in the state leadership. They have learnt it hard way, that the money cannot buy everything. The credibility, values, ideology and the experience are too expensive for money to buy. And Reddy brothers are learning it the hard way. Any broken relationship can be soldered, but it will not be strong. One only hopes, this one comes under the exceptional category.
